TRI-CITIES FAMILY CAMP at CAMP ARROYO

Be part of a brand new tradition to kick off summer right! The YMCA has been providing fun, memorable and impactful camping programs for over 125 years. The Tri-Cities are partnering with the YMCA of the East Bay to offer a fun-filled Family Camp just for you, at Camp Arroyo.
Located in the rolling hills of Livermore, Camp Arroyo provides unique opportunities for families to get away from it all without the long drive. Having just opened in 2001, Camp Arroyo provides modern day comfort with cabins that sleep up to 12 people and feature attached bathrooms, heat and air conditioning and bunks with thick mattresses. Fantastic indoor and outdoor spaces throughout camp allow for fun-filled programs, as well as places to just sit back and enjoy the serene surroundings.
Family Camp will begin with dinner Friday night, served from 6:30-7:15, followed by fun activities to help campers get to know each other. The rest of the weekend will offer a variety of activities including arts & crafts, sports & games, hikes, swimming & fun at the pool, and even the opportunity to climb the 35 foot rock wall. Activities can be enjoyed by families together, or individual family members independently, and of course, you can always choose to do nothing and just relax. In the evening, enjoy camp-wide activities like a traditional campfire, family games & more. The weekend will end with a delicious brunch served at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday.
REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN and space is limited, so register early. Online registration is not available for this program.

Cabin reservations reserve an entire cabin that you fill as you like with a 12 person maximum. Families registering at the per person rates may share cabins with other families.

Cabin Rate: $800 (fill it yourself with up to 12 people total and has an attached bathroom)
Per Person Rate: Adults $125, Teens ages 13-18 $80, Youth ages 4-12 $50, Under 4 – Free!
NON-RESIDENT/NON-MEMBER
Cabin Rate: $950 (fill it yourself with up to 12 people total)
Per Person Rate: Adults $160, Teens ages 13-18 $90, Youth ages 4-12 $60, Under 4 – Free!

Fees are non-refundable and non-transferrable. Fees include activities, lodging and delicious meals from Friday dinner through Sunday brunch. Upon registration you’ll receive an information packet with details like what to bring, how to find us and other important details.
Camp Arroyo is a very modern facility which opened in 2001. It features 12 cabins that house up to 12 people with an attached bathroom and is known for its excellent food. Located overlooking the Livermore Valley, facilities include a pool, sport court, bocce ball, meadow, hiking trails, ropes course and much more.

Bring Your Class to Outdoor School

It time to start thinking about planning your overnight trip to the YMCA East Bay Outdoor School!
The YMCA East Bay Outdoor School at Camp Arroyo, in Livermore, is opening its 9th school year. From September 2011 through June 2012, we will serve over 3,000 Bay Area elementary and middle school students at the state-of-the-art “green” campus. Fourth through seventh grade students will stay at YMCA East Bay Outdoor School for 3 to 5 days and learn about sustainable building, renewable resources, organic gardening, the cultural history of the site, the natural environment and have the opportunity to challenge themselves in a number of activities.
