It is still not too late to book an overnight trip to the YMCA East Bay Outdoor School!
The YMCA East Bay Outdoor School at Camp Arroyo, in Livermore, is opening its 9th school year. From September 2010 through June 2011, we will serve over 3,000 Bay Area elementary and middle school students at the state-of-the-art “green” campus. Fourth through seventh grade students will stay at YMCA East Bay Outdoor School for 3 to 5 days and learn about sustainable building, renewable resources, organic gardening, the cultural history of the site, the natural environment and have the opportunity to challenge themselves in a number of activities.

We are pleased to announce our first Labor Day Weekend Family Camp at Camp Arroyo in Livermore. Combining the talents of our summer camp staff from YMCA Camp Ravencliff with the fantastic staff and facilities at Camp Arroyo, this event promises to be a truly memorable experience! Open to the whole family, you'll be able to enjoy many traditional camp activities like crafts, campfire and more, while enjoying some new activities specific to Camp Arroyo including swimming in our gorgeous pool, enjoying the climbing wall and zip line and taking great hikes. Don't miss out on this great event!

We offer a tier pricing system to allow more families the opportunity to participate. Simply select the fee that meets your famlies' situation. There is no income verificiation or additional paperwork required.
Tier 1 reflects the true cost of camp. If you can pay this fee, please do so.
Tier 2 is a partially subsidized rate for families who need some assistance with the camp fee.
Tier 3 is a more heavily subsidized rate for families with a more significant need.
Fall Family Camp Fees: (includes 3 nights lodging and meals Friday dinner to Monday brunch)
Individual Rates (may share cabin with another family)
Adults (age 18 & up): Tier 1 $220; Tier 2 $190; Tier 3 $175
Youth (ages 4-17): Tier 1 $140; Tier 2 $115; Tier 3 $95
Under 4: Free!
Cabin Rates (to reserve an entire cabin which houses up to 12 people and has an attached bathroom)
Tier 1: $1440; Tier 2: $1200; Tier 3: $1000
Camp Arroyo is a very modern facility which opened in 2001. It features 12 cabins that house up to 12 people which an attached bathroom and is known for its excellent food. Located overlooking the Livermore Valley, facilities include a pool, sport court, bocce ball, meadow, hiking trails, ropes course and much more.
